Families often find themselves in situations that require the loving help and support of parents and family members. When that support is no longer available due to geographical distance, it is difficult to describe the desperation and pain these families feel. This is where Yad Tomech comes to the rescue. This unique benevolent organization was started six years ago, by a concerned group of community leaders, headed by Rabbi Aharon Berzesky Shlit’a. Its goal: To become a “home away from home” for these young families living in the Beit Shemesh area, providing for them the appropriate help and support. This they have certainly achieved and continue their work with tenacity, responsibility, love and dedication. Yad Tomech operates with the full support and encouragement of all the community’s Rabbis and with the warm endorsement of Gedolei Yisroel Shlit’a.
